Px3

P1: "Flirting intruiges the other person and invites them to play."
P2: "Flirting interests the other person and then asks them 'Are you interested?'"
P3: "Flirting attracts the other person and says 'Would you like to mate?'"

Possible Thesis: "Flirtation is a game we play, a dance for which everyone knows the rules." (Luscombe's article, paragraph 8, line 1)

Freewrite: This sentence summarizes flirting in one sentence. It opens us to the idea that flirting is natural and that everybody does it. Although flirtation implies sexual desire, it does not tie us down to any one decision/commitment. It implies that flirting simply allows us to judge reactions and calculate what it is that we can 'get.'
